World Scholar's Cup

The World Scholar's Cup is an international academic competition built around debate, writing and team challenges. It rewards curiosity across a wide range of subjects, and the ability to argue, write and think alongside teammates.

“Doing debate and writing in the same competition showed me how differently the two work: debate rewards thinking on your feet and listening closely, while writing rewards structure and patience. Doing both as part of a team taught me how to share the load and lean on other people's strengths.

It brought communication, collaboration and intellectual curiosity together in one place, and showed me that I enjoy academic challenges most when they involve arguing, explaining and working with other people.
